It has been proven that stretching before a workout can lessen the chance of any injury; this is because it loosens your muscles and limbers your body up, which helps you be ready and not stiff in case anything sudden happens.
3. Utilize Proper Lifting Techniques
When preparing to lift heavy objects, you want to follow proper lifting techniques:
- Spread your legs apart.
- Stand as close as you can to what you are lifting.
