The beginning of the move was handled perfectly- they were organized and the movers were proactive, timely and professional. Then it all tanked once my stuff was handed over to a crew that was outsourced to deliver my stuff out of state. Awful communication- I was supposed to get 72 hour notice - I got 20 and had to spend an anxious day begging my new place for an elevator to accommodate the rush. They insisted 7AM but didn’t show up to 12:30! They said they had a morning delivery that was delayed. If you told me 7AM, what was the delivery before me?? At that point the elevator I negotiated was no longer available. It was only 2 guys and They had to completed unload someone else’s apartment from the back of my truck to get to my stuff! They just dumped this poor persons stuff all over the city street to unload mine. Then they had to re load this persons stuff before they could start moving mine. At this point I had to over tip the security guard to let us use another elevator. Needless to say, with the rough handling I saw - there were items broken - black tape all over furniture and my bike whose residue I can’t get off. They had to put together furniture - part of the package I paid for- but they didn’t have the right tools so they had to leave and come back 3 hours later. I complained to my customer rep- didn’t feel like they really cared.. I just got an email saying this is how you claim insurance. It wasn’t the insurance claim I wanted, but I will use, it
