Why We Support Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
Breast cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer found throughout the United States. According to the American Cancer Society, over 4 million survivors are currently living in the U.S. and over 300,000 people will be newly diagnosed this year.
With this many people affected, it's only right for our team to show support. We have consistently shown ourselves to be a moving and storage company that cares about its customers and we help them in ways that go beyond relocation services. We're here to support all of our customers, including the ones that are affected by breast cancer. By sponsoring Making Strides for Breast Cancer, we do our best to help in the ways that we can.
What is Making Strides Against Breast Cancer?
Making Strides for Breast Cancer is a national organization that has been active for over three decades. This organization is the nation's most impactful breast cancer movement and features 3 to 5-mile noncompetitive walks for those living with breast cancer, surviving from it, and their families. Individuals put together teams to take part and fundraise to help raise money for breast cancer research and treatment.
What Events Will We Be At?
This fall, Solomon and Sons will be at two distinct Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events: October 19th at Amerant Bank Arena and October 26th at Sunset Cove Amphitheater.
